I have had the lovely privilege of managing and mentoring Esma for almost two years, witnessing first-hand her exceptional ability to navigate the complexities of our projects with grace and efficiency (+ lots of positive energy!). 
 
Esma is accountable and reliable. She was consistent in liaising and aligning with me and her stakeholders across multiple key projects. Given that she was the design lead for 2 core feature teams (Website + Onboarding), she's a very fast learner — understanding technical capabilities and limitations, industry and regulatory knowledge, all whilst adeptly pivoting through ever-changing iterations.
 
Even with her large area of responsibilities, Esma raised her hand to assist her teammates, embodying the spirit of collaboration, knowledge sharing, and her ability to work cross-functionally. Her open communication about her thoughts, decisions, and actions has fostered a transparent and productive work environment.
Esma played a key role in the successful completion of pivotal projects such as the website design system, website homepage redesign, and registration flow redesign (to name a few). These initiatives were critical in helping her feature teams achieve their OKRs and led to an increase in conversion rates. Her contributions to the creation of a comprehensive website design system and an improved assets library have significantly enhanced consistency and efficiency in our design work. ...
